Important Information for Vehicle Buyers

If you’re interested in purchasing a vehicle, our doors are open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You’re welcome to take a vehicle for a test drive within our compound, provided you leave your driver’s license with our staff. We ask that you thoroughly inspect the vehicle you’re interested in, conducting a comprehensive walk-around to assess its condition. Vehicle viewings are not available on the day of the sale. If you become the winning bidder in our auction, you are responsible for payment of the vehicle.

Guidelines for Vehicle Auctions

All vehicles are subject to a 18% Buyers Premium (Minimum $150, Maximum $1599), along with applicable taxes (GST, PST), and possibly Saskatchewan Certification. Some vehicles may require certification due to being out-of-province, abandoned, or previously involved in an accident but subsequently repaired. Please pay close attention to the auctioneer’s announcements, particularly regarding Previous Total Loss (PTL) vehicles.

Keep in mind that used cars may have imperfections, and we kindly request you factor this into your bidding. Once you place a bid, it cannot be reversed. No arbitration applies to any vehicle with over 200,000 km and/or sold for under $5,000 (sale price or bidding amount).

Below Conditions apply on any Impound Vehicles / Bank Repossessed Vehicles or Any Vehicle sold for under $5,000 (sale price or bidding amount).

AS IS, WHERE IS – NO WARRANTY – NO REPRESENTATION

This vehicle is offered for sale and sold strictly “AS IS, WHERE IS,” with all faults, known and unknown, and without any warranties, guarantees, or representations whatsoever, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranty or condition of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, or roadworthiness, to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan. PBR auctions acts as agents only. 

Important Notice to Bidders

  • Neither the seller nor PBR Auctions makes any representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding:
    • the vehicle’s condition (mechanical, electrical, structural, cosmetic, or otherwise)
    • prior use, accident history, maintenance history, odometer accuracy, title status, or
    • compliance with safety, emissions, or registration requirements.
  • Any descriptions, announcements, advertisements, condition reports, photographs, videos, or verbal statements are provided for convenience only, are non-binding, and must not be relied upon.

Buyer Inspection & Due Diligence

  • The buyer is solely responsible for conducting any inspections, investigations, or verifications prior to bidding, including but not limited to:
    • mechanical condition,
    • structural or frame integrity,
    • presence, absence, or deployment of airbags,
    • electrical system functionality,
    • suitability for registration, insurance, or intended use.
  • Failure to inspect does not relieve the buyer of responsibility.

Possible Defects (Non-Exhaustive)

The vehicle may have defects or conditions, including but not limited to: 

  • mechanical or drivetrain failure,
  • electrical system defects,
  • frame or structural damage,
  • prior collision or flood damage,
  • missing, disabled, or deployed airbags,
  • safety system malfunction,
  • unknown or undisclosed issues.

No Returns / No Rescission

  • All sales are final.
  • No returns, exchanges, credits, chargebacks, or rescission will be permitted for any reason after the fall of the hammer or acceptance of bid.

Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

  • By bidding, the buyer knowingly assumes all risks associated with the purchase, ownership, transport, repair, and use of the vehicle.
  • Neither the seller nor PBR Auctions shall be liable for any loss, damage, cost, claim, injury, or expense arising from or related to the vehicle, including consequential or incidental damages, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Acknowledgement

  • By bidding on these vehicles, the buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full, and agrees that this written disclosure forms part of the auction contract and supersedes all prior verbal or written statements.

All vehicles are sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, unless otherwise specified by the auctioneer at the time of sale. When purchasing any vehicle from PBR Auctions, a $49.99 Documentation Fee applies to all VIN items, covering lien searches, title clearance, and transfers. Rest assured, we guarantee clear title for all vehicles sold.

On the day of the sale, a deposit of $500.00 or 10% of the total purchase is required for each vehicle you acquire. The balance must be paid by 5pm the following Tuesday. Accepted payment methods include E-Transfer, Credit Card, Debit Card, Certified Check, Bank Draft, and Cash (please note we do not accept Credit Cards over the phone). Personal checks are not accepted, and deposits are non-refundable.

PBR Auctions does not provide guarantees regarding the make, year, model, or mileage of vehicles. We strongly encourage buyers to thoroughly inspect vehicles before bidding. Vehicles must be removed within 7 days (including weekends/holidays) of auction; starting day 8, storage of $10/day/vehicle applies.

Meanwhile, the Clothing Store boasts an extensive selection of Men’s, Women’s, and Kid’s Clothing, Shoes, as well as Bedding and Home Decor Items.

Store is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

All items in these stores are subject to a 18% Buyers Premium (Maximum $1599) and applicable taxes (GST, PST).
